Tinder Plus: Introducing Tinder Plus, the next level of Tinder

One of the most popular matchmaking app - the rapidly growing dating app Tinder on Thursday launched its first paid version- Tinder Plus which the company claimed as the next level of Tinder.

According to the latest statistics, Tinder’s monthly user numbers explode seven times over during the last one year.

Tinder in its first experiment with making money, said on Thursday that it would charge its mostly millennial users for special features through a subscription plan called Tinder Plus. The plan is to make it available to all Tinder users by the end of this year.

With the paid version, users will have access to two new features - Undo and Passport. Undo lets people go back on the person they just swiped left on, a highly common accident, and Passport lets people search outside their geographic region.

Undo lets you take back your last swipe. If you accidentally swiped left on someone you wanted to get to know, they are no longer lost in the Tindersphere forever. Get them back with the touch of a button.

 Passport lets you change your location to match with people around the world. Swipe, match and chat with Tinder users in a destination of your choice. Navigate between your current location and new destinations.

Add locations by searching or dropping a pin on the map.

Available to all users by the end of the year, Tinder Plus will be offered as an in-app subscription. Users will be billed either through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store depending on their device.

How to cancel Tinder Plus subscription?

You can cancel your Tinder Plus subscription at anytime.

To cancel your subscription on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch directly: Go to the App Store on your iOS device.

Scroll to the bottom. Tap Apple ID (your Apple ID email).
Tap View Apple ID. Log in, if asked. Scroll down to Subscriptions and tap Manage.
Select Tinder and set the auto-renewal slider to Off or select Unsubscribe.

To cancel your subscription on your Android device directly: Open the Google Play Store app.
Search for Tinder and select Tinder in your search results.
Select Cancel.
Confirm cancellation.
