In previous posts we have explained about what is Tinder exactly is? Where to Download? And how to install it? If you have installed the app please proceed reading this post otherwise please to go back to our previous posts and get the app installed first.

Ok lets get straight to the point, we presumed that you have installed Tinder App on your phone or device. 

Since Tinder uses Facebook Profile or other information you must first connect with your Facebook Account. If you haven't created Facebook Account create first before you install Tinder.

Now click on the App or open, you will see a screen similar to the screenshot below which will display almost a blank screen. 

Edit Your Facebook Profile: As we said before, Tinder uses your Facebook data, so it is a good idea to update your basic information that are in public. Also update your profile picture which you would like to use as your Profile Picture in Tinder. Remember Tinder will display your last five (5) Facebook Profiles. Choose the ones which you would to like use it and remove the ones you don't like. Avoid pictures with opposite sex or with friends, use your single photograph, smile and act natural. No Photoshopped picture please. If possible try to display your interests such as playing football, hiking, traveling through your photograph.

Edit Your Tinder Settings: Now look at the left hand side of the screen and click on Options. Please pay attention here, these settings will have a great influence on the kind of matches that will be shown to you.

 

Click on the view Profile, add a brief description about you or tagline. Don't add unessary description this might give a wrong first impression. Try to make it short and sweet.

Preference Settings: Tap the upper-left corner to access the app menu. This will include Menu options like Profile, Home, Messages, Settings, and Invite. This menu will allow you to set your preferred gender, your proximity for matches, and more as shown in the screenshot below.

First checked Discovery box, this will enabled your profile available for other people to search and discover you.
Set Proximity or Distance:  For this you must GPS enabled on your device or phone to use Tinder. Define your proximity option. Set how wide the search distance for prospects the app would use. Or within which distance you would like find matches. 20 miles is a good starting point, if you couldn't find your matches at this level try smaller scale or shorter distances. 

Set Your Preferred Age: Set your preferred age limits you are willing to consider for your partner.

If you are having problem Miles there's an option to change your preference into kilometres as shown in screenshot below.
