Tinder doesn’t send notifications? or Tinder Notifications Not Working? See Solutions

When you are expecting someone like you back or a Match or Super Like notifications on Tinder and you end up getting nothing. Don't get frustrated, you are not the only Tinder users who don’t get Tinder notifications. This happens when Tinder releases new updates. Normally, Tinder send different notifications such as New Matches, Messages, Message Likes and Super Likes, we all want to get the notifications that you we only wanted, and not get unnecessary notifications. In every apps, there are options where we can control which types of notifications we receive from within the app itself. We can also choose to enable notifications for specific types so that we never miss the important ones. If your Tinder apps no longer show push notifications on your devices, here is a few thing you can try to make it work again and also how to turn Notifications On or Off in Tinder.

Tinder Notifications Not Working?

Update Tinder: OK, The first step is to check and see that you are using the latest version of Tinder. If not then make sure to update your Tinder app from your respective app store or app market.

Once updated, open your Tinder and see if you are receiving push notifications from Tinder. If it doesn't it may be that you are not having any activities in your account. If you have and still not getting any notifications, follow the steps below;


1. Open your Tinder as you normally do.
2. Tap on the Person icon on the top left of your home screen (see screenshot below).

3. Below your profile, there is a Settings, tap on that.

4. Once tapped, it will take you to a Settings Page.
5. On the Settings page, scroll down and look for App Settings.
6. Under the App Settings there Notifications icon for New Matches, Messages, Message Likes and Super Likes, enable all of them or you can enable notifications only the one you want. Make sure that the button turns Red, if it doesn't turned, tap on it again. (See screenshot)

7. Hopefully you will now get your Push Notifications.

If you are still facing or having notifications problems after following the above steps, consider following the steps below;

1. Log out of your tinder account and log in back.
2. Keep your phone on Flight Mode. This might sound simple, but in most cases this often solve certain related app issues.
3. If still not working, you may delete or uninstall your Tinder app.
4. Download and re-install Tinder from your respective app store and login again with your Facebook account.
